The names of seven more characters have been recently revealed! Here’s the list:
- Cyrax
- Kano
- Sonya
- Jax
- Smoke
- Kitana
- Liu Kang
Apparently there isn’t any new screenshots or artwork for them but when they’re released you’ll see them here.
Credit goes to MK Universe for the first two and PlayStation Magazine for the rest.

Actually, the Playstation magazine only says that it is “expected” the roster will contain the people it lists. It’s a guess.
Of course, it’s a probable guess, but a guess none-the-less.

from what i read in the magazine it is only speculation on the other characters only newly confirmed characters are:

I Want to see all the characters for MKT because that was the best game where is the artwork of smoke in mk9? I want to see human smoke and noob saibot not noob/smoke i didn’t like how they did that at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please bring back Liu Kang (Human Form) in the new, upcoming Mortal Kombat game. I would suggest not to use that turkey gobble noise that he does when performing his moves, combine his look/design from both MK vs DC Universe (without the belt)as well as his alternate costume from both Deception & Armageddon.
